After four years of rocking and/or rolling,
BU has decided to hang it up for awhile.
This was not an easy decision as we
will surely miss all of our fans who make
our gigs what they are; a great time.
We have had as much fun, or more than
a band could have and it is due to all of
you who come out and support us.
We love you and will miss you.
We would especially like to thank Jessica,
the Rock Chick for all her hard work with
the site and the photos. we are truly in
your debt. There may come a day in the near
future that our paths may cross again.
We surely hope so. Until that time, may
God bless you all and keep you safe.
Be good to one another!

Bottoms Up!

-Dec. 2, 2006, As we approach 2007 BU has a new look. we welcome drummer Nate Glasser to our family.  His skills are mad and we are glad to have him! We are sad to say goodbye to Bill, our former drummer. He did great things for us and is a great guy. We know we will see him in the future.

We have some new venues to play as well! Duffy's in Palatine, Mulligan's in Lisle along with our regular favorites! We have lots of new tunes with the same attitude, so come on and get your Bottom out!

-Sept 20, 2006 Summer is over and BU will be rockin' in Fall. We all know summer was made for outdoor events and BU had it's share at Kief's Reef, Venice Tavern, Block Partiess and Schaumburg's Septemberfest. We look forward to seeing you in Lake Zurich, St. Charles, Warrenville, and Berwyn in the next few months.

It was nice to look out into the audiences and see our fans having fun and to meet the new ones.
(Be sure to check out our Photo Section ...you may even see yourself!)

The Bottoms Up shows promise to be even more entertaining with new songs, free give-aways and of course the fun-lovin interaction with each audience.

Be sure to print out the BU Schedule and save the dates. We look forward to meeting you, your friends and really appreciate your continued support.

Thanks With An Edge!

BU is starting to warm up with the weather! We are stretching our wings and venturing out to some new venues and also playing our favorite  joints as well. We will be invading Plainfield as well as St. Charles. We are even playing a 1980's themed gig at Pheasant Run in June!  We are also going outdoors on the Fox River for a Sunday afternoon jam at Kief's Reef and then a holiday weekend doubleheader! What more could you ask for? We have new tunes and a new attitude, so come on out and enjoy the sounds, the sun and the suds with BU!

White smoke! White smoke! White smoke has emerged from the bottoms up conclave! We have chosen a new female vocalist! Her chosen name is Erin Reynolds the first (also happens to be her real name) and she is ready to carry on the BU tradition of great vocalists!  We could not be more excited with our choice and are humbled that she has decided to join us! Come and see her work! We have a lot of exciting gigs coming up, including Hotshots in aurora (with a guest vocalist) and a new place (Doug's) in Aurora. We have added a lot of new tunes including some U2, AC/DC, Kelly Clarkson, heart, Avril and a lot more! Also, at every show, we draw names for free booze and a BU disc!

Come see the new lineup! We won't disappoint!

Spring is here and the NEW Bottoms Up band is, too. As the fans already know, Joann-our female lead vocalist-is with child and will be leaving the band. Needless to say, we are all very happy for her but at the same time sad that she will be leaving. After approximately 2 years, she has set a standard of excellence that fans continue to enjoy at each show. Joann's "farewell performance" will be on April 1 at the Grand Victoria Casino in Elgin starting at 9 PM. Be sure to come out and wish her well as she "hits you with her best shot!" Also stay tuned as we announce and debut our NEW lead female vocalist. The format of the band will basically stay the same-alternating vocals with Doug and....well, you'll see! The new exciting Bottoms Up show will hit the stage at Hotshots in Warrenville on April 30th. Simply put...you will definitely want to be there! Thanks for your continued support of live music.
